Marcus Holloway

Marcus covers the dog beat at Maowsy — training, behaviour modification, breed-specific health, and the practical side of living with dogs in apartments, suburbs, and rural settings. He is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer — Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, and previously spent seven years working in shelter behaviour and private in-home training in the United States. He writes about anxiety, reactivity, puppy raising, and senior care with a force-free, evidence-based approach. Marcus lives with a deaf eight-year-old Australian Shepherd named Pepper who has taught him most of what he knows about adaptive training.
